Shalini Bhupal
Director
Mrs Shalini Bhupal is the Executive Director of TAJGVK Hotels & Resorts Limited, a joint venture between the Taj Group of Hotels and GVK. TAJGVK presently has six premium hotel projects across India. These include Taj Krishna, Taj Deccan, Taj Banjara and Vivanta by the Taj in Hyderabad, Taj Chandigarh and Taj Clubhouse, Chennai.
She is also a shareholder in GVK Power & Infrastructure Ltd and also the Managing Director of Orbit Tours & Travels Pvt Limited.
Mrs Bhupal oversees the development and implementation of new projects as well as renovation of existing ones. To cater to the rising demands, she is leading the setting up of new projects across key metros of Mumbai and Bengaluru.
The company is also extending its horizons to cater to the value segment with the upcoming “Ginger” brand in Andhra Pradesh.
Mrs Shalini Bhupal is an Arts graduate from Osmania University, Hyderabad and has also completed the Executive Program on “Strategic Thinking and Implementation” at Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
With her dynamism and farsightedness, she is building upon the illustrious lineage of GVK, aspiring to reach even greater heights.
Rakesh Reddy Tanguturu
Director
Mr Rakesh T Reddy is one of the co-founders of the Company and a Director on the Board of the Company since 1999 and currently lives in India.
As a Director on the Board he actively participates in the affairs of the company and engages in strategic decision making and ensuring availability of adequate financial and other operational resources for the smooth functioning of the company.
He plays a key role in establishing marketing networks of the company in India and abroad.
He is actively involved in the Real Estate and Construction businesses and is the founder Director and Chairman of Genesis Realtors Pvt Ltd, in India and plays a key role in identifying, negotiating and finalizing collaborations and joint ventures.
He is also the Managing Director of M R Constructions in India.
Mahesh Bigala

Mahesh is a high calibre achievement driven business leader associated as one of the co-founders of the Company and a Director on the Board of the Company. He is involved in designing and implementing strategies, plans, processes and systems to establish businesses and assure sustainable growth delivering objectives, vision, mission and values. He is responsible for having understanding of educational scenarios & stakeholder aspirations at all levels from K12 to secondary and tertiary education.
As a Director on the Board he actively participates in the affairs of the company and engages in strategic decision making and ensuring availability of adequate financial and other operational resources for the smooth functioning of the company.
Mr. Sai Kishore Vallam
Director
A Senior Entrepreneurial Executive in the area of International Education and Management. He has over 25 years of experience in the areas of teaching, academic administration, training and development, and general management and administration. He is a High performing Senior Executive with a proven track record of successfully establishing and managing of teaching sites in Sydney and Adelaide from inception till date under the educational partnership arrangements with Federation University Australia and he has the ability to develop strategic long term partnerships and communicate effectively with all levels of decision makers.
He currently holds the position of Director Operations with InfoTech Professionals Pty Ltd. This company under the trading name of International Institute of Business and Information Technology (IIBIT) is engaged in providing educational services in English Language, Vocational Education and Training and through an educational partnership with Federation University, Australia is engaged in providing Tertiary Education at its teaching sites in Adelaide and Sydney. In his current capacity of Director Operations he provides Leadership and Strategic direction for the smooth functioning of the Organisation.
He has been on the Board of Directors of InfoTech Professionals Pty limited which is engaged in providing of Educational Services and is on the Board of Directors of Rockwell Educational Institutions Private Limited involved in K -12 Education.

Director of International Investment & Expansion
Veroliyondo, widely known as Ando, is a regional investment leader and cross-border strategist with active leadership roles across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Australia.
He serves as Director of Quantephi Investment Firm (Malaysia), Director of PT Bintang Timur Investama (Indonesia), and Director of Investment at Infotech Professionals Pty Ltd (Australia).
With a strong foundation in investment structuring, cross-border M&A, project financing, and institutional partnerships, Ando is recognized for his ability to architect and execute complex regional deals. His experience spans key strategic sectors, including education, healthcare, technology, energy, and infrastructure, positioning him as a highly versatile and results-driven strategic sponsor.
At Quantephi Malaysia, Ando leads regional investment mandates, establishes SPVs, mobilizes co-investors, and manages the full execution cycle of multi-country projects. Through PT Bintang Timur Investama, he advances Indonesia-focused investments, public–private partnerships, and national education–workforce initiatives. In Infotech Professionals Pty Ltd (Australia), he drives investment strategy in technology-enabled education, global skills mobility, and digital platforms.
Tamil Chelvan

Tamil Chelvan is a distinguished leader in transnational education, higher education, training programmes, and executive learning, with nearly 30 years of experience shaping impactful educational ecosystems across Asia and the broader region. Known for his strategic vision and operational depth, he has consistently driven large-scale initiatives that strengthen human capital development, enhance workforce readiness, and expand access to high-quality learning opportunities. His work is widely recognised, earning him several international awards for his contributions to education and leadership development.
Throughout his career, Tamil has played a central role in designing and implementing innovative programmes that integrate global best practices, digital learning technologies, and industry-aligned competencies. He has been deeply involved in Human Capital Development for government agencies across Asia, supporting capacity-building, leadership development, and strategic talent initiatives. His extensive experience in higher education is reinforced by a strong global network of world-renowned universities, enabling the creation of impactful international collaborations and meaningful cross-border learning pathways.
A results-driven and forward-thinking strategist, Tamil continues to champion transformative approaches in training, executive development, and education innovation. MOHD YAZID ABD HAMID
Associate Director - Strategic Initiatives
Mohd Yazid Abd Hamid is an accomplished C-suite leader with over three decades of experience shaping Malaysia’s higher education landscape through strategic policy execution, institutional strengthening, and large-scale internationalisation initiatives. His expertise spans international student recruitment, education governance, research commercialisation, and cross-border engagement, supported by a strong foundation in human capital development built during his early career in multinational corporations and Malaysian conglomerates. His work reflects a deep commitment to elevating higher education’s role in national development and global competitiveness.
As the Founding Chief Executive Officer of Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), Yazid established Malaysia’s national one-stop centre for international education, significantly transforming service delivery, compliance governance, and institutional coordination across the sector. His leadership contributed to Malaysia’s rise as a prominent regional education hub, with international student enrolment growing from 81,624 in 2013 to 133,860 in 2017. His achievements earned him the Educational Leadership Award at the 6th World Education Congress in Mumbai, recognising his impact on strengthening Malaysia’s global education brand and enhancing the country’s international education ecosystem. His earlier role as Chief Operating Officer at Bioeconomy Corporation strengthened university–industry linkages, where he collaborated extensively with public universities and research institutes to unlock commercial value from academic research and innovation, generating RM14.2 billion in industry revenue and securing over RM10 billion in investments.
Yazid later served as CEO of Mardi Corporation, applying his expertise in institutional reform, research commercialisation, and policy alignment to strengthen the organisation’s role within the national agricultural and scientific research ecosystem. Today, he continues to contribute to national development through board and advisory roles with MYNIC Berhad and the NCIA NEST Advisory Board. With deep experience interfacing with ministries, university leadership, accreditation bodies, and international partners, Yazid is recognised as a forward-thinking, impact-driven education leader capable of advancing institutional excellence, driving policy outcomes, and positioning higher education for sustainable, globally competitive growth
MOHD HISHAM MOHD JUNID

With a distinguished career spanning more than three decades, Mohd Hisham Mohd Junid is a visionary leader in education and human capital development. His professional foundation was shaped during two decades at UNIRAZAK, where he served as Deputy Director of the Centre for Continuing Education. During this tenure, he strengthened his expertise in business development, marketing, and operational management, gaining a deep understanding of the higher education landscape and the evolving demands of lifelong learning.
Today, Mohd Hisham is recognised for his leadership in public-sector innovation, particularly in future-proofing the national workforce amid rapid digital transformation. He has led major initiatives at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data, and cybersecurity, applying his broad experience to design modern, scalable, and data-driven learning architectures. His work focuses on addressing critical skill gaps and building institutional capabilities that support long-term readiness for the digital era.
His expertise spans strategic learning solutions, public-sector capacity building, and digital transformation within learning and development. He develops impactful upskilling and reskilling programmes, strengthens competencies in emerging technology domains, and applies advanced methodologies to create robust, future-ready learning ecosystems. Deeply committed to national progress, Mohd Hisham collaborates closely with government agencies to align workforce development efforts with Malaysia’s overarching digital transformation agenda. His career reflects a steadfast commitment to education and a proven ability to connect traditional pedagogy with the evolving expectations of the digital future.

Prof Graham Webb
Independent Member, Chair-GHE Board of Governance
Professor Graham Webb retired in 2011 as Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) at the University of New England in Australia where he had overall responsibility for the academic activities of the University and acted as Vice-Chancellor for extended periods. His previous career includes eleven years at Monash University in Australia where he was Pro Vice-Chancellor (Quality) and for a period, CEO of Monash College Pty Ltd (a wholly owned company of Monash University comprising six educational businesses); eleven years at the University of Otago in New Zealand; six years at the University of the West Indies in Jamaica; and, seven years at the University of Ulster in Ireland.
Graham has played an active role internationally in quality assurance and improvement. He chaired the first and subsequent audits for the Australian Universities Quality Agency (AUQA) and is a consultant, trainer and auditor for national accreditation and audit agencies in six countries. In 2008 he received the Australian Higher Education Quality Award.
Graham is author or editor of 9 books and numerous book chapters and journal articles concerning the theory and practice of teaching and learning in higher education, organisational and staff development. He is an Editorial Advisory Board member for five international journals.
Semi-retired, Graham runs a higher education consultancy specialising in quality assurance and improvement, leadership and educational development. He is a Professorial Fellow of the L H Martin Institute for Leadership and Management in Higher Education at the University of Melbourne and Adjunct Professor at the University of New England. He was Chair, Board of Governance, IIBIT Education Group (2014-2019) and Chair, Board of Directors, Universal Higher Education; Chair, Board of Directors, Universal Learning Group; Chair, Board of Directors, Universal Information Technology; and Chair, Board of Directors, Universal English (2017-2020).
Mr. Graeme Dennehy
Independent Member-GHE Board of Governance
Graeme Dennehy has over thirty years experience in University administration with the majority of those years working at the level of Vice-President. Over the past nine years, Graeme has provided management consulting services to the Tertiary Education sector along with holding a number of non-executive Board positions. Prior to this, he occupied the positions of Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer at Deakin University and, Executive Director and Vice-President (Business and Administration) with the University of New England.
His responsibilities while holding those positions included the provision of leadership and oversight of the Universities’ academic support and corporate and commercial services which included, inter alia, areas responsible for legal, financial, and business administration; audit, risk, and business continuity. Graeme holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and a Corporate Directors Diploma, is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), and is the immediate past Chair of the Higher Ed Services (HES) Board.
He is a member of the register of Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) Experts and has over 10 years’ experience as an auditor with the past Australian Universities Quality Agency (AUQA). Graeme is also on the register of experts for Quality Assessments of Universities in Papua New Guinea and has been appointed as a specialist for the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic & Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ).
Dr Ruth C Schubert
Independent Member-GHE Board of Governance
Dr. Ruth has over 40 years’ experience in education management, leadership and academia with particular expertise in strategic development. She is currently the Education Director in the Department for Education South Australia where she provides strategic and innovative educational leadership for the realisation of the Department for Education strategic priorities and achievement of the Partnerships, Schools and Preschool Divisions objectives and outcomes: including delivering on the departments 10-year aspiration for world class education. She is also an Honorary Fellow at the LH Martin Institute / Melbourne CSHE at the University of Melbourne, following 4 years as Associate Professor/Associate Director, and Principal Consultant with Schubert, Lehmann and Hartley – specialising in tertiary education.
Her previous engagements have included Associate Director of the prestigious LH Martin Institute where her role was to extend the range and reach of all Institute programs and ensuring the longer term financial viability of the Institute. She also spent 15 years with TAFE SA in a variety of management and executive roles, culminating in a project which transformed TAFE SA from three separate Institutes to one organisation operating as a Statutory Corporation.
Prof. Janelle Allison
Independent Member and Chair-Academic Board
A former Pro Vice-Chancellor, Community Partnerships and Regional Development and more recently Founding Principal of University College at the University of Tasmania, Janelle led an innovative program to deliver a contemporary curriculum to produce the workforce for Tasmania’s future industries. University College was specifically created to focus on Associate Degrees and AQF 5&6 higher education qualifications. In recognition of the need for greater choice and options in the higher education sector, the curriculum is strongly focussed on applied and experiential learning.
A recent member of the TasTAFE board, she brings experience and understanding of TEQSA compliance and working with government. With a background in geography and regional planning, Janelle has worked with regional communities and in regional development in Australia, (particularly Queensland) as well as overseas in Africa and Indonesia. She has taught in a range of settings including planning/design studios, rural community development, short courses and training for regional development in provincial governments in Indonesia and more recently worked with Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) to develop training (based on AQF standards) for researchers in PNG, Indonesia and Cambodia.
Prof Gail Wilson
Chair of the Course Development and Advisory Committee
Prof Gail Wilson is an Associate Professor in SCU's Emeritus Faculty. She is one of a small team of editors for the UK-based journal Research in Learning Technology (RLT). She is an assessor for the AAUT national teaching awards and was recently appointed to the TEQSA Experts Register for a period of three years.
Gail's research interests focus on online professional learning for teachers in higher education, resource-based learning, assessment design, and peer review in the context of online and blended learning environments using a conversational approach to give and receive feedback between staff.
She is keenly interested in teachers as designers and ways in which learning design principles and good design practice can be shared with academics. She has worked for four different universities in Australia and an independent provider of higher education.
Currently she works part time as an independent consultant in higher education.
Prof Andrew McAuley,

Dr. Andrew McAuley, an accomplished educational leader with more than 30 years of experience in higher education. Serving as Provost at IIBITEG since 2018, Andrew provides adult learning direction, focusing on teaching, learning, research and student support programs Prior to joining IIBITEG, Andrew held important positions at Southern Cross University, including Vice-Chancellor (Academic) and Professor Includes Vice-Chancellor (Academic) His academic tour includes roles as Professor of Management and Business Administration at Griffith University.
In addition to developing research, Andrew has contributed extensively to leading business journals and serves on editorial advisory boards. His PhD examined entrepreneurial flexibility, reflecting his research focus on entrepreneurial SMEs and the internationalization process. Throughout his career, Andrew has held a variety of managerial and leadership roles with an emphasis on enhancing student learning experiences and success. As a valued member of our Board of Advisors, Andrew brings invaluable insight to our business school efforts.
